Design and Metal Material Support in the Production of Milling Machinery

The training program for sector employees and university students, conducted within the scope of the “Design and Metal Material Support in the Production of Milling Machinery” project, carried out in cooperation with Hitit University, the Central Black Sea Development Agency (OKA), and the Anatolian Vocational Education and Business Development Association, has been completed.

The project, implemented by Hitit University Technology Transfer Office Inc. with the support of OKA, aims to increase design capacity and improve material selection processes in the milling machinery manufacturing sector, one of Çorum's priority sectors.

Within the scope of the project, advanced SolidWorks training was provided to technical personnel from Atılım, Emta Makine, and Makine ve Enerji (MAKENAS) companies operating in the Çorum Organized Industrial Zone, as well as to Hitit University mechanical engineering students. Thirteen people completed the training, which was conducted in collaboration with Armada Yazılım.

In the second phase of the project, technical consultancy support focusing on material selection to improve product quality and durability was provided to the companies.

Certificates were presented to the participants.

At the program held in Çorum Technopark, certificates were presented to the participants who completed their training by Hitit University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk, OKA General Secretary Mehlika Dicle, and Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Çetin Başaranhıncal.

Hitit University Rector Prof. Dr. Öztürk thanked the Central Black Sea Development Agency for its cooperation and support, stating, “As Hitit University, we will continue to contribute to regional development-oriented projects. We will stand out even more with development-oriented projects on our path to becoming an entrepreneurial, new-generation university. We are always ready to cooperate with our Technology Transfer Office Inc. in various trainings and projects.”

OKA Secretary General Mehlika Dicle, emphasizing that the milling machinery sector is an important area for Çorum, stated, “It is very valuable for us to be a stakeholder in this project with Hitit University's expertise in its field of specialization. You may see the projects as small-scale, but big stories begin here. Our greatest wish is to develop, brand, and disseminate these projects in collaboration with you. I thank everyone who contributed to the process.”
